Experience the rich architectural history of Cabbagetown and gain inspiration from modern and contemporary home designs at the Tour of Homes. From ornate Victorian facades to innovative contemporary interiors, ticket holders enjoy an exclusive journey through time and design inside and out of these spectacular homes!

This is a self-guided tour; where you begin and end is up to you! Highlights of special features and information about the homes is found outside each house.

- Map and addresses of the 8 homes on this tour.
- Special promotions at local stores and eateries.

Please note that tickets are nonrefundable and the tour takes place rain or shine! After purchasing, you will receive a receipt confirming your order. Print this receipt. Exchange your printed receipt for your ticket(s):

Tour open: 12:00 - 3:30 (last entry into the home)

Date: Sunday, September 17. Tour Hours: 12:00 – 4:00 pm Last Entry Into homes: 3:30 pm The tour takes place every other year (alternating with the Cabbagetown Hidden Gardens & Private Spaces tour). It is on the Sunday following the Cabbagetown Festival in September.

The Tour of Homes is a self-guided walking tour. Ticket holders may start and end their tour wherever they like within the tour hours.
To enrich your experience, infomation on the homes (architectural information, fun facts about the home, design etc.) is available outside of each home.
Homes are open for ticket holders from 12:00 – 4:00 (last entry into homes is 3:30).

Click on the VOLUNTEER button on the tour page. Be sure to include your name, email and phone number, and a member of our committee will get back to you with information.
Not only is this a great chance to meet members of our community, but all volunteers receive a free tour ticket and are invited to a thank you reception once the tour is over.

This event relies on volunteers to run smoothly and your support is greatly appreciated!

Volunteers are assigned to a home and are posted throughout including the entrance and exit. They control the flow of visitors, point out special features, and ensure visitors observe tour guidelines. Each home has a House Captain who will greet you before the tour opens, explain your specific role and the tour guidelines, and be there to answer any questions you might have throughout the day. Volunteer shifts are from 11:30 – 4:00. All volunteers receive:
– a free ticket to view the homes between 4:00 – 5:00 (after the Tour closes)
– invitation to a thank you party

While volunteering for the Tour of Homes is fun and easy, it does require you to be on your feet most of the time so please wear comfortable shoes!

Nonrefundable tickets, which include a map and addresses for the homes on the tour, can be purchased online and picked up Sept 17 at the CPA Booth (493 Parliament St.). Tickets may also be purchased directly at the booth. 

Guests must print out thier receipt to exchange for ticket(s).

Each ticket includes a map with addresses for all the homes on the Tour. To help with your planning, here is a map which shows the general areas of each home.

Tickets are available for purchase now:
In store: at select vendors.
Online: tickets purchased online can be picked up Pre-Tour at The Great Mallard (503 Parliament St.) or on the Tour Day at the CPA Booth (493 Parliament St.). Either way, guests must print out thier receipt to exchange for ticket(s).
