Our 2024 Walking Tour Season

In partnership with Heritage Toronto, we will be presenting TALES OF THE NECROPOLIS (walking tours) on:

  • Tuesday August 27. First tour at 4:00 pm and second tour at 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday October 1, First tour at 4:00 pm and second tour at 5:30 pm

STARTING POINT: The Heritage Toronto booth at the Cabbagetown Farmers Market.

Walk through one of the city’s oldest cemeteries to discover the lives of former Torontonians, including that of our first mayor, an iconic zombie movie maker, and the first person who found dinosaur bones in Canada. Explore one of the oldest cemeteries in the city and learn about some of Toronto’s heroes, champions, rebels, and leaders.

This event runs rain or shine! Tours last for approximately one hour and take place inside the Necropolis cemetery on unpaved portions with uneven ground.

The cost of a private tours is $10 per person, to a maximum of $100 for a group of up to 15 people. Contact us with your details and we will get back to you to design a tour that meets your needs, and your schedule.
