David found Cabbagetown in 1990 and has been living in a circa 1889 semi on Winchester
Street since 1999. He has been an active member of the Cabbagetown Preservation
Association for approximately 20 years, starting as a walking tour guide. Over the years, he
has worked on many projects in support of the CPA and has served as Chair and as a Co-
Chair. David is also active with the biennial organization of the Cabbagetown Tour of
Homes. In his professional life, David is a public policy consultant and concurrently the lead
on election finance administration for a provincial political party. In his spare time, he can
often be seen wandering the neighbourhood being pulled along by Bella, an eight-year-old
golden retriever.
